-He has extraordinary court vision and playmaking abilities for his size, a trait he shares with only Magic Johnson. This allows him to play PG despite being 6′8.
-He can play SG as well, although I think this is the position that’s the least fit for him. A shooting guard technically just requires him to be decently athletic and lengthy (which he is) and shoot in volume.
-He can play SF which is the most versatile position in basketball, and is his natural position.
-He can also play PF, because he is tall enough and built powerful enough to do it. His post presence is good enough to dominate in this position as well. This is probably his second most natural position after SF.
-He can also play C although it’s not a great fit for him because he would be undersized for a center. Still though, he’s got enough strength that he can still compete with taller centers in the paint.
Lebron can play any position, although he is probably the best as a SF or PF. He can be pretty decent as PG. I would avoid using him as SG (because his talents are better in another position) and C (because he would be undersized).
He’s different than Wilt and Russell because those guys are natural centers and cannot really play other positions (although Russell’s height makes him a good fit for PF technically as well).
