My top 20 most underrated games more people should know about (I did gameplay videos for all these):
1) Rise of Legends (a fantastic RTS that takes inspiration from Starcraft)
2) Sleeping Dogs (amazing open world GTA clone except you’re a kung fu wielding triad double agent)
3) Dark Sun: Shattered Lands (awesome early DOS D&D RPG)
4) Anachronox (awesome cyberpunk RPG)
5) Catacomb Abyss (primitive but creepy early horror DOS FPS)
6) Leisure Suit Larry 6 (I’m not afraid to admit I played games with early 90s sexual humor)
7) Freelancer (Microsoft’s forgotten space management shooter)
8) Warlords Battlecry III (makes the list just based on ridiculous number of races you can play as in this RTS)
9) Traffic Department 2192 (DOS shooter involving a sociopathic protagonist, mind control, aliens, cyborgs and cloning)
10) Quest for Glory IV (Dark Lovecraftian horror inspired adventure / RPG)
11) Cloudpunk (awesome cyberpunk voxel art indie adventure)
12) Eastward (Earthbound inspired charming indie RPG)
13) Nox (tongue in cheek Diablo II clone)
14) NEO: World Ends with you (an improvement upon the original in every way very unique urban inspired JRPG)
15) Policenauts (along with Snatcher, my favorite Hideo Kojima game)
16) Close to the Sun (imagine Bioshock but leaning more into the horror aspect)
17) 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim (combination japanese adventure / strategy game with some time travel thrown in)
18) Sakura Wars (fun mecha JRPG with visual novel elements)
19) Shadow Warrior 3 (fun FPS romp with Shang Chi like main character)
20) Akiba’s Trip (JRPG where you defeat vampires by stripping them. nuff said)
