Double standards. No more, no less.
Kobe even gets called the GOAT for having an undefeated record in the Olympics… even though those are the EXACT same Olympics Bron also played in! Which Bron outperformed Kobe in! Bron averaged more PPG, RPG, APG and MPG than Kobe in both 2008 and 2012 Olympics. But Kobe gets all the credit for the record and gets called the GOAT for it. And in addition to that, Bron has an additional gold medal from 2024 too.
so it’s ALL Kobe in the Olympics and never Bron despite Bron having better stats in the SAME olympics… because Bron won a bronze as a rookie
So tell me if this makes sense… Bron has 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal in the Olympics. Kobe has 2 gold medals in the Olympics which are the SAME ones Bron played in. Yet Kobe is the GOAT for having the undefeated record in those Olympics. Which other Olympics athlete gets criticized for having MORE medals?? That’s like saying Michael Phelps 2 bronze that he got in his first Olympics forever disqualifies him from the GOAT of his sport. Make it make sense.
